The Parent Project

The Parent Project “Learn How to Out Will Your Strong Willed Child”

Is your adolescent stubborn, defiant or out of control? This 10 week series of parenting workshops is designed to teach proven strategies to parents dealing with their teenager’s behavior problems.

The Simi Valley Police Department is currently accepting reservations for the upcoming Parent Project® class. The Parent Project® is a nationally renowned parenting skills workshop and is utilized by both Los Angeles and San Bernardino County Juvenile Court systems. Classroom instruction will address a variety of issues including poor school attendance and performance, alcohol and other drug use, gangs, runaways and teen violence. Needless to say, this class is a critical support mechanism for parents who are at a loss of what to do with their incorrigible teen. The classes will be held at 4364 Valley Fair Street, Simi Valley (Cornerstone Church).

There is no cost to attend. For more information visit and to make a reservation for the next available series of classes, please contact Sergeant Dwight Thompson at (805) 583-6290.
